Standing Crunch

The standing crunch is an exercise for the Transversus Abdominis (TA), often called the deep abdominal. The Transversus Abdominis wraps around your abdomen like a corset.

The standing crunch isn’t the most strenuous crunch you can do. The real advantage of this exercise is that it helps you establish a connection with your TA. Many people have a poor awareness of the TA. This apparatus help you to connect with this muscle and imprint that connection into your nervous system. This is an example of neuromuscular reeducation.

Another advantage of the standing crunch is convenience. With floor crunches you have to get down on the floor, but with our apparatus you can just walk up to it and start.
