Hundreds

The Hundreds are a stabilizing exercise for the abdominal wall, which is your core. In the Hundreds, you pulse the spring bar up and down. In biomechanics language, the up and down movement creates an instability or perturbation on your upper body. Your abdominal wall must stiffen in order to form a solid link between the upper and lower body.

A set typically includes a hundred pulses.

We are borrowing the name “Hundreds” from a classical pilates exercise. Even though our Hundreds look completely different that the pilates Hundreds, they activate your core in much the same way.
